Wakili Cloud is a legal-practice management application. This policy explains how information is handled when a user accesses the service or connects a Google account.

Information we process

Depending on how the service is used, Wakili Cloud may process account details, client and matter records, uploaded documents, tasks, court dates, billing records, audit information and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Google user data

When a user chooses to connect Google Calendar, Wakili Cloud requests the connected account's email identity and permission to create and update Calendar events. This access is used only to synchronize hearings, mentions, file events and task deadlines associated with that user.

Wakili Cloud does not request or access Gmail messages, inbox contents, contacts, Google Drive files or the user's Google password. Google authorization tokens are stored in encrypted form and are not sold or shared for advertising.

Use of information

Information is used to provide requested legal-practice functions, synchronize calendars, maintain security and audit records, communicate service information, troubleshoot problems and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Sharing and disclosure

Information is not sold. It may be processed by infrastructure or communication providers necessary to operate the service, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security controls, or disclosed when required by law.

Retention and deletion

Records are retained for the period needed to provide the service and meet professional or legal obligations. A user may disconnect Google Calendar from My Profile. Disconnecting removes the stored Google authorization connection; previously created events may remain in Google Calendar until removed by the user.

Security

Wakili Cloud applies access controls, encrypted transport and protection of stored authorization tokens. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Users may decline Google Calendar access and continue using Wakili Cloud without calendar synchronization. Users can revoke access from Wakili Cloud or their Google Account settings.
